Mission

The Gender Inclusive Policy Institute is committed to fostering an equitable society by promoting gender inclusivity at all levels of policy-making and societal engagement. We aim to serve as a catalyst for transformative change by advocating for inclusive policies, conducting rigorous research, and empowering stakeholders through education and collaboration. Our mission is to bridge gaps, challenge norms, and create a world where every individual, regardless of gender, can participate fully and equally in all aspects of life.

Vision

Our vision is a global society where gender inclusivity is not just an ideal but a reality. We envision a world where policies and practices across all sectors are designed with the diverse needs of all genders in mind, ensuring fairness, equality, and dignity for every individual. Through our relentless pursuit of research, advocacy, and education, we strive to dismantle barriers, transform institutions, and cultivate a culture of respect and understanding that celebrates gender diversity.

Our Work

We communicate our expertise effectively and work closely with national and international partners to raise awareness of Gender Inclusive Policies at all levels. To support the promotion of gender inclusiveness we:
Conduct research, collect and analyse data on gender indicators with an
intersectional perspective;

  • Conduct policy dialogues to develop methods to improve gender statistics and data collections;
  • Communicate our comparable and reliable data and information through conferences, seminars and training;
  • Advocate for the development and implementation of gender-inclusive policies at local, national, and international levels.
  • Publish research findings, policy recommendations, and best practices to inform policymakers, academics, and the general public about gender-inclusive policies and their impact.
  • Measure the state of gender equality and gender inclusive policies in low, middle and high income countries both at EU and Member State levels;
  • Develop methodological tools and provide technical support for gender mainstreaming in all EU and national policies;
  • Cooperate with national institutions; international organisations; NGOs; equal opportunities organisations; universities and experts; research centres; social partners and related bodies and the media to share knowledge, experiences, and resources to advance gender equality globally.
